Follow the Women UK
As the founder of Follow The Women lives in the UK, the UK team have been involved from the start in 2004.

The 2008 UK team is made up of ordinary women of all ages and different backgrounds, from all over the UK.

FTW UK have just become a registered Charity in the UK. The Charity Commission has now Registered ‘Follow the Women' (Registration Number 112388), as a charity in the UK which will help the organisation grow and extend its activities further for the public benefit. All of the Trustees of the Charity give their time voluntarily to the organisation.

FTW UK board of trustees meet on a regular basis to help to guide the activities of the UK team. This charity status will allow us to continue and expand our work.

Activities include:

  • Raising Money – The UK team hold regular events to help raise money for FTW, these include anything from Coffee mornings, Car Boot Sales, Pamper evenings, Themed discos.
  • Presentations – We have given a number of talks to different groups, to help spread the word of FTW and to raise the profile of women and children in the Middle East.
  • Youth Exchanges - Hosted international youth exchanges from participating FTW countries.
  • Arab Community – Started an Arab youth club and raising the profile of the Arab community locally.
