In April 2007 the women from more than 30 countries began the ride in Aleppo, Syria, in a departure from the route of previous rides.  After travelling to Lattakia they were joined on the ride by HE Mme Asma Al Assad, the first lady of Syria.

Moving on to Lebanon riders cycled from Saida to Beirut then rides took place in the Bekaa Valley, Tripoli and Mount Lebanon before travelling to Jordan.

Having cycled to Madaba the riders finally entered Palestine where they cycled to Abu Dies, painting a mural on the The Wall en route, and then entering Bethlehem.  The exciting finale to the ride came when the women cycled together from Bethlehem into the capital Jerusalem.
