How insulated we are about certain things here in the US… I'm going to have to soft pedal my new-found knowledge.

Testimonials
First of all, I want to thanks each person made me living a great experience as follow the women. I was really sick about the situation of Palestinians in Arab countries and how we treat them but we do nothing for them even the borders of our countries are closed for them. I don't how they can have the power to love persons again it's a real lesson of humanity. It was very surprising for me how daily lives of these young women touched me and made me so uncomfortable because I can do nothing for them.

My head is still spinning from this past ride (my first) with FTW. I'm in the process of putting my head, my heart, and some rational, easy to understand thoughts together. It really opened my eyes to what has, and is, happening. The trip just made it all that more real. How insulated we are about certain things here in the US. My friends are trying to retrieve my brain as they don't understand------ yet. I think I came on too strong initially, ...... , so I'm going to have to soft pedal my new-found knowledge......... gently, gradually. We certainly have walls to chip away here on the home front, don't we?!

Every day i get up here-in Iran, I feel that Im missing something, Im missing the warm Good mornings of every one for the breakfasts, Im missing the dances in the buses, Im missing the chats while riding, Im missing laughing together and crying together, Im missing the surprises every day and everywhere, the warm receptions of people while riding and saying them:" MARHABA" and their answers: " AHLEEEIN", breathing the weather of the HOLY LAND, feeling a part of the people, enjoying the time with the friends of other nationalities with the same spirit and aim and suddenly saying Good bye to them...
a suffering feeling that i haven't got used to  after a week...
Im still challenging inside...
miss u all and love u all

I am finally back - arrived on Monday. My head can't sit on my shoulders straight. Walking home from the train station I'll just suddenly start running, I don't know why exactly. I think part of it is to stop the flow of thoughts going through my head - I can't help being disturbed by the comparison of my life here and life over there. I think it's also just because I can.
