In December 2005 the Country Co-Coordinators from each of the participating countries in 2004, took part in a conference in Portugalete in the Basque Country.

Many different subjects were discussed, with the focus of keeping the concept and visibility of PEACE high.

Objectives inlcuded:

• To connect women, to open the door to understanding and learning
  
• Increase the number of connections and the network of women
  
• Empower ALL women
  
• Use an international women's bicycle tour to:
  • Attract media attention for our aims
  • Bring women from different cultures into contact to create a common learning experience
  • Allow women from all around the world to get to know Middle eastern countries from a unique perspective
  • Promote bicycles as a vehicle of peace and freedom of movement
  
  
• Develop and support initiatives on local, national and international levels linked with the peace process in the Middle East and women's issues in that region.
